由广东外语外贸大学主办，外国语言学及应用语言学研究中心、桂诗春语言高等研究院和双语认知与发展实验室联合承办的第六届广外应用语言学论坛于12月3日开始举行。本次论坛于12月3日在广东外语外贸大学北校区，举办了脑电技术培训工作坊，共吸引了120多名来自各个学院的校内师生参加，线上直播观看人数累计2700人次。

随后，北京飞宇星公司的郭良根和徐宜平两位资深工程师主持脑电技术的培训。内容包括脑电技术的原理、脑电设备的介绍以及实验注意事项。

12月3日下午，在上午理论学习的基础上，工程师使用便携式脑电设备对脑电数据的采集进行现场演示，并邀请感兴趣的观众上台实操。最后，工程师演示如何分析收集到的脑电数据，顺利地完成了整个脑电技术的培训。

本次脑电技术培训工作坊顺利结束，师生反响热烈。此次培训为我校师生提供了技术学习和交流的平台，对促进我校的科研发展有着积极作用。

The Sixth GDUFS Forum on Applied Linguistics began on December 3^rd. This forum was hosted by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and organized by National Key Research Center for Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, Gui Shichun Institute of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics and Bilingual Cognition and Development Lab. On December 3^rd, the workshop of ERP Technique, a warm-up activity of the forum, was successfully held at the north campus of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS).

On the morning of December 3^rd, Prof. ZHAO Chen, the director of the Bilingual Cognition and Development Lab (the BCD Lab), gave a welcoming speech to all the participants and briefly introduced the research team of the Lab. This was followed by the theoretical session instructed by Mr. Guo and Mr. Xu. They introduced the principles of ERP technique and ERP devices. Things to pay attention to when using ERP equipment were also emphasized in this session.

In the afternoon, based on the theoretical learning, Mr. Guo and Mr. Xu demonstrated the process of data collection with the portable devices. In addition, audience who wanted a try were invited to have hands-on practice. Finally, engineers showed participants how to analyze the data and the workshop came to an end.

This workshop has attracted approximately 2700 online audience and nearly 120 people from various faculties to attend. It served as a platform for learning and exchange among teachers and students, and played an important role in promoting the development of scientific research of the university.
