About me
My research focuses on the cognitive neural mechanisms of lexical and syntactic processing, the comprehension mechanisms of ambiguous sentences (such as garden-path sentences), the predictive processing mechanisms in language, the empathy mechanisms in language communication, and the application of EEG technology in language studies. The primary subjects of investigation include both children and adults. I gained my doctor degree in Psycholinguistics from the School of Psychology, Beijing Normal University. Then I conducted my post-doctoral studies in the School of Philosophy, Psychology, and Language Sciences in the University of Edinburgh. I am now a professor in the Center for Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
